Drew Barrymore has been a crowd favorite movie for almost three decades. Behind the camera, she is also enjoying success as a producer under her ownFlower Films banner, with hits like “Never Been Kissed, Angels and 50 First Dates Charile. In addition to producing films, Barrymore joined Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu to star in Charlie’s Angels and two Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, which together raised more than half a billion dollars around the world.
Barrymore made her film debut at the age of five years in the sci-fi thriller Altered States. However, it was his scene-stealing performance as the precocious Gertie in Steven Spielberg’s 1982 blockbuster ET the Extra-Terrestrial that catapulted the young actress to fame. She became a star in the thriller and comedy Firestarter of irreconcilable differences, for which she won a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
She has also won praise from critics and audiences for his performances in a wide variety of comedies, most recently as the romantic comedy Music and Lyrics, alongside Hugh Grant, Fever Pitch, in which he starred with Jimmy Fallon under the direction of the Farrelly brothers, and 50 First Dates, with Adam Sandler. Barrymore also starred in the 2007 drama Lucky You, directed by Curtis Hanson. Other recent films include George Clooney acclaimed biographical satire Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, with Sam Rockwell; riding Penny Marshall in Cars with Boys, Never Been Kissed, which marked the debut of the production of Barrymore, stay home, next to Luke Wilson, and hit the hit comedy The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler
