Prince William, Kate Middleton’s elaborate wedding cake

Now that Prince William and Kate Middleton are married, they are enjoying the celebrations in store for the big day.

The royal wedding cake is reportedly a multi-tiered, fruit cake covered in white icing, states RadarOnline.com. The elegant wedding cake was made by British pastry chef Fiona Cairns.

The newly married couple’s initials are reportedly stenciled into the cake’s bottom layer.

There is also reportedly a chocolate biscuit cake that includes crushed cookies and dark chocolate. The chocolate cake is reportedly one of Prince William’s favorites from when he was younger.

Paris Hilton’s intruder found guilty of burglary

The man who attempted to break into Paris Hilton’s home some time ago has reportedly been found guilty in court.

Nathan Lee Parada was reportedly found guilty of first-degree residential burglary, states TMZ. Parada had reportedly tried to break into her Hollywood home and had knives in his possession at the time.

He now reportedly faces up to three years in state prison and will be sentenced on June 29th.

Kate Middleton’s hairstylist talks about the big day

Kate Middleton’s hair for her wedding day looked very much like her style, and that could be because she was so involved in the decision.
James Pryce and Richard Ward created her look for the wedding day and revealed what it was like, states .. “Catherine was very involved in her chosen style and the bridal look was based on her own preference,” Pryce said about the Demi-Chignon.

And apparently a big factor in deciding on her look was the tiara she was wearing at her wedding: “The focus of the [hairstyle] was Catherine’s unique and individual halo style tiara, set just back from the hairline.”

Do you like how Kate Middleton wore her hair?

Royal wedding: Britain goes wedding-party crazy

UP and down the land the bunting fluttered and the booze flowed as Britain went street party crazy to mark yesterday’s big day in style.
There was dancing in the streets, flag-waving and wild celebrations as excited revellers, many with Union flags painted on their faces, soaked up the atmosphere
And at the moment William and Kate finally tied the knot in London – beamed on big screens across the country – huge cheers and applause rang out.
There were more than 5,000 street parties and hundreds more open air events. Hundreds of residents of Kate’s home village of Bucklebury, Berks, celebrated with £30 bottles of Laurent Perrier champagne as they watched the wedding on a big screen. One, Jayne Wells, 35, said: “She looked so gorgeous and very elegant.”
Fellow villager Laura Purcell added: “It was a beautiful, fairy tale wedding.”
In Manchester more than 1,000 people gathered in the sunshine to watch the wedding on giant screens.
Scarlett Smith, 23, Chloe Kerr, 22, Elle Davies, 22, and Lara Richards, 22, were dressed in skimpy dresses covered in Union flag sequins. Scarlett said: “We wanted to dress up and show our grandchildren what we were wearing on the big day.”

Party time in London as crowds celebrate royal wedding

After William and Catherine's fleeting first kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, the vast crowd gathered below chanted a brief chorus of "kiss, kiss, kiss" -- before the couple treated the adoring spectators to their second kiss as newly weds.
A tidal wave of well wishers had surged along the Mall to the palace after the royal procession had passed. Some ran to secure a prime viewing position, some were jumping up and down in excitement, others were simply screaming -- all in a spontaneous outpouring of affection for the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The royal kisses were met with deafening cheers and Union Jack flags were waved in unison as RAF planes flew overhead. Some particularly enthusiastic spectators even jumped into the waters of the nearby Queen Victoria Memorial.Graham Prince, 72, left Manchester, in northern England, at 5 a.m. to join the crowds along the Mall. He said: "It's a great feeling to see everybody so happy -- and it's not just English people either, there are people from all over the world."
In Hyde Park, where three huge cinema screens had been set up to show live coverage of the wedding, red, white and blue confetti filled the air as crowds cheered the royal couple.

The whole park stood to applaud the first kiss, some popping open bottles of champagne.

Royal wedding dress is fit for a future queen

After weeks of speculation that at times verged on the absurd, Catherine Middleton emerged Friday for her wedding in a gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The gown is classic-looking, in silk gazar with long intricate lace sleeves, and it will probably be a force of pop culture for years to come, influencing fashion trends and reinforcing the sociological significance of the white wedding gown.

"We knew she would wear something classic, but having Sarah Burton as the designer added something modern," said Darcy Miller, editorial director of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. "And that's really been the running thread with this couple — that they bring modernity to the royal family but are respectful of tradition."

Catherine
chose the British brand "for its craftsmanship and its respect for traditional workmanship and the technical construction of clothing," according to a statement on the official wedding website. Apparently, the bride worked closely with Burton in creating the dress, which pays homage to the Arts and Crafts movement. (The timing of Catherine's choice was auspicious. A retrospective exhibition of work by McQueen, who committed suicide last year, is set to open Wednesday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Burton was named as his successor in May 2010.)

The Ups and Down of Britain's Royal Marriages

Kate Middleton on Friday will become the British royal family's latest princess.  She may have been born a commoner, but the royal family seems to have welcomed her despite her lack of pedigree.  History proves that does not mean smooth sailing in a royal marriage.
In 1525, the notorious Anne Boleyn, also a commoner, caused a scandal when she caught the eye of King Henry VIII.  The king sought an annulment of his 24-year marriage to Catharine of Aragon to pursue Boleyn, which the pope refused to grant.  Henry broke off from the Roman Catholic Church and established himself as head of the new Church of England, divorced Catharine, and married Boleyn.
Three years later, the king had Boleyn beheaded for adultery and conspiring to overthrow him.
More recently, the palace was faced with another controversial partner for a king - Wallis Simpson, an American socialite and divorcee who attracted the affections of then-Prince Edward, heir to the throne.  Because of her history of divorce, and the king’s status as head of the Church of England, the palace did not see her as a viable choice for queen.  In 1936, in order to marry her, King Edward VIII took the unprecedented step of abdicating the throne.
A generation later, Princess Margaret - sister to today’s Queen Elizabeth - had an affair with Peter Townsend, an officer in the royal household.  Again, a previous divorce made this royal suitor unfit in the eyes of the palace.  Margaret accepted Townsend’s proposal, but after two years, announced she would not marry him after all. Instead she married photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, a marriage that ended in divorce in 1978.  She was reported to have carried on affairs with a number of men before her death in 2002.
In a unique position is the former Camilla Shand, who met Prince Charles at a polo match in the early 1970s.  She was among several women with whom he was linked at the time, but the relationsip ended when Charles left the country for military service two years later.
But Camilla was to have her turn.  She and Charles resumed their affair during his marriage to Princess Diana and hers to Andrew Parker Bowles.  Diana, also unhappy in the marriage, had affairs of her own; Charles and Diana divorced in 1996, and in 2005 he wed Camilla Parker Bowles.  Since then, she has gone from royal reject to palace insider, gradually gaining the acceptance of the royal family and the general public.
Another woman who entered, then exited, the royal family was Sarah Ferguson, who married Prince Andrew, brother of Charles.  That marriage dissolved after 10 years.  Ferguson has since had a string of financial troubles and in 2010 was caught on videotape soliciting money in exchange for access to her ex-husband.  Earlier this year, she admitted accepting financial help from a convicted pedophile and friend of Prince Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein.  She later issued a public apology.
A third royal sibling, Princess Anne, suffered embarrassment when it was revealed that her then-husband, Mark Philips, fathered a child in 1985 with New Zealand art teacher Heather Tonkin.  A paternity test in 1991 confirmed he was the father.  Philips and Princess Anne divorced in 1992, the same year both Charles and Andrew announced their marital separations.

global Design Takes Center Stage At Vancouver style Week

global Design Takes Center Stage At Vancouver style Week
On the 16th of April 2011, Vancouver style Week featured designers from Korea, London, and Paris. primary off, starting the show, was designer Kwak Hyun Joo. She used daring, bright colours like yellow, orange, red, and electric blue, paired with black, and pieced them jointly into dynamic, futuristic pieces. imposing as it was, she went beyond trouble-free colours and explored her way into print, coming up with some very cute and current garments, perfectly-befitting of summer. daring, futuristic, current, and attractive, she finished off her collected works with seductive and sexy, yet professionally-chic pieces; a look that only daring and positive women would fruitfully be able to pull off.

Ha Sang Beg, who studied style in both Korea and London, was the second designer to take the arena. By sticking to the necessary colours, he gave himself room to go crazy with his designs. He daringly explored, imaginatively off the cuff, and came up with good-looking designs, that were not too extravagant or over-the-top, yet were exclusively unusual. His show was pleasant to watch, as the colour scheme was, as I said, basic, but yet he continual to blow the audience away with his exclusive ideas. There were also models who came out in black helmets with a little LCD screen on the front that showed a image of sunglasses: this depicted his collected works completely, simple yet out-of-this-world. That was not all, apparently, the ABC was only the start of his show, soon, models clad in neon colours were out on the stage as well. This was a enjoyable surprise, and the show was no less than it was when it primary began.

The third and final show of the night showcased Autobiography, a collected works by Nazafarin and Dena who met while attending Esmod global style Institute, in Paris. The showcase was announced as being influenced by Japanese origami and Persian art. True to the description, each part greatly resembled Japanese origami, in more than one way. The metallic fabric used for the garments shimmered and rippled in a way that definitely reminded me of specialty origami paper that I used to fold Japanese artwork with. In fact, the way that the cut were put jointly, also brought origami to my mind. Additionally, the influence of Persian Art could be seen, by the bright blue used, for example, in the luscious long clothing that was exhibited at the finish of the show. The collected works was base on a distinct theme, yet the clothes contained a compelling sense of modernity, and there is no doubt that any woman would feel relaxed and good-looking, as well as very different and sole, clad in an outfit by Autobiography.

Four dress for £225: Is this Kate’s High Street marriage wardrobe?
She may be capable to have enough money haute couture, but days gone by Kate Middleton showed that she is just as happy in the High Street.

The Royal bride-to-be popped into the middle-market store shop on King’s Road, Chelsea, and spent a distinctly thrifty £225 on four summer style items.
She arrived with a bodyguard at 4.30pm the recent past and spent around 20 minutes in the superstore. Shop staff said Kate’s garments were a size 8. ‘She was really nice and welcoming,’ said one assistant.
Eager to cash in, Warehouse’s PR team had put out a press release within an hour detailing her purchase and saying: ‘Kate Middleton has just popped into our King’s Road store and has picked up some incredible summer piece!’
Her choice may indicate that she and Prince William are going somewhere hot for their wedding.
Royal aides have refused to disclose the couple’s goal, though they have confirmed that the couple will be leaving the day after their marriage and that William has taken two weeks’ leave from the RAF

Johnny Depp closer to “21 Jump Street” cameo

Hollywood:So Tom Hanson’s going to pop up in the planned “21 Jump Street” remake after all.

Or, at least, the actor who played the fresh-faced undercover cop will appear, and since his name is Johnny Depp, that qualifies as major news.

Rumors have been floating for some time now that Depp wanted in on the remake, if only in a cameo role. Depp acted prior to “Jump Street,” a popular TV drama, but the show really skyrocketed his career.

Now sources close to the remake tell EW.com that “a small, uncredited Depp cameo does indeed look likely to happen,” though “no details are available yet on what character Depp might play in the film, which begins shooting this month with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the lead roles.”

How couyld you cast Depp and not ask him to play Hanson? The only question is if Depp’s willing to cut and style his hair into that sweet ‘80s do’ for the remake.

Kate Middleton: Check Out Her Childhood Photos

WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETON ROYAL WEDDING: One of Kate Middleton's many charms may be that she seems just like one of us (only, you know, maybe a little prettier, smarter and more stylish and athletic).

Yet even as the Middletons became millionaires after launching a successful party-supply business, the former flight attendant's daughter remained down-to-earth.
