Royal wedding live

Live coverage ahead of the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey, with live video of the day's events from Friday morning.

23.39 And that's all for tonight folks. For all those not too busy swilling Pimm's or trying to avoid getting tangled in bunting tomorrow, the Royal wedding blog will be back with insights and updates from around 6am. Fingers crossed for a seamless, shower-free day.

23.07 Protesters thought to have been planning to behead effigies at the royal wedding were arrested in south-east London tonight, sources told the Press Associat Latestion. It is understood one of the three arrested is Chris Knight, 68, head of an anti-Royal anarchist group calling themselves The Government of the Dead.
22.23 David Starkey, who last night presented a television documentary on the royal wedding, has said he believes that former Prime Minister Tony Blair was left off the guest list because Prince William had "developed a powerful dislike" of him. The historian suggested it was not a political decision, but a personal one on the Prince's part.
22.08 Jimmy Choo has announced that several of the guests at the wedding will be stepping out in his gear, including Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, Zara Philipps, Chelsea Davey and the BBC's Fearne Cotton.
